Christians believe that if you follow Jesus Christ you will spend eternity in heaven. Jesus taught many things during his time here on earth very many years ago. He taught people to love one another and to respect one another. He taught a dirty cheating tax collector integrity. He taught his disciples to have faith and that God will provide for them, even with thing as small as s fish and bread. He taught babies how to breathe before they were born. He taught the animals how to survive. He told the water where to stop and the stars where to sit. He teaches pastors how to mentor and build their churches up. He teaches us that no matter how crazy whatever it is that he wants us to do, to have faith in him because he would never give us something we can’t handle. And that we won’t actually die if he sends us to India or the Ghetto to spread his word to the ones who need it. He teaches us that life trying to follow him won’t be easy, but that the reward we get in the end is worth far more than anything the devil has to offer. Eternal life in his glory with him.
