Similarities
The teachings of Jesus and Buddha are not that similar. Jesus performed many miracles and healed many sick people. The main thing he wanted to teach us was love, grace and forgiveness. Jesus demonstrated that his love for us is endless by shedding his blood upon the cross. The mission statement of Nambour Christian College is to provide a secure and supportive Christ centred learning community where a commitment to excellence, creativity and service is encouraged and modelled. Just the school’s name itself Nambour Christian College is a clear statement in itself. It states that the type of education we offer is all based on the teachings of Jesus.
